OUR MISSION & PURPOSE

Since its founding in 1972, Calvary Lutheran School's guiding focus of assisting parents in the spiritual and academic training of their children has remained unchanged.  Our faculty and staff recognize that each child is a unique gift given by God and that children learn best when parents and faculty work together towards common goals for the benefit of each child.  We believe that a true education is founded first in the knowledge and wisdom of God so that each child may daily grow in a life of faith, witness and service.

At Calvary, we desire to serve the children of our church members, the children of our sister congregation members, and the children of our community.  Families seeking enrollment are asked to meet with our principal and education pastor, and to have their children assessed by the appropriate classroom teacher.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT - MEMBERS OF CALVARY & SISTER CONGREGATIONS

All member families from Calvary Lutheran Church, Atonement Lutheran Church and Divine Peace Lutheran Church with children enrolled in Calvary Lutheran School support our church and school ministry through the payment of annual school registration fees and a pledge, given through offerings, to support the more substantial costs of our educational ministry.  The average cost per student per year is approximately $5000; however, our practice of ministry support through regular offerings allows us to serve all families regardless of their economic status.

FINANCIAL SUPPORT - FAMILIES FROM OUR COMMUNITY

Families from our community with children enrolled at Calvary Lutheran School support our school through the payment of tuition. Tuition for our three-day core kindergarten program is $3030 per year, and tuition for our five-day enriched kindergarten program as well as grades 1-8 is $4500 a year (2010-2011 school year).  In addition to tuition costs, families are responsible for school registration fees of approximately $500 per student. Tuition is collected through the services of FACTS Management Company, and families may also apply for financial assistance using the FACTS Grant and Aid Application.  It is our policy to ensure that a Christian education is possible for all families regardless of their economic status.
