Education for Life

Since its founding in 1972, Calvary Lutheran School's guiding focus of assisting parents in the spiritual and academic training of their children has remained unchanged. Our faculty and staff recognize that each child is a unique gift given by God and that children learn best when parents and faculty work together towards common goals for the benefit of each child. We believe that a true education is founded first in the knowledge and wisdom of God so that each child may daily grow in a life of faith, witness and service.

Singing
Students in grades K-8 will sing at Cavlary this Sunday, February 14, in the 11:00 a.m. service as we focus on the blessing of Christian education and hold our School Open House.

School Open House
Join us at Calvary this Sunday, February 14, from 1:30 - 4:00 p.m., for our School Open House. All are invited to learn more about our school, curriculum, faculty, and students. Join us for the afternoon's activities which will include our grade K-2 play. We pray that you will consider Calvary Lutheran School for your chldren as you look to the 2010 -2011 school year. Presidents Day - No School
There will be no clases on Presidents Day, Monday, February 15. Classes will resume on Tuesday, February 16.

Synod Trip Fundraiser Dinner
Mark your calendars and join us for a Mississippi River Boat Cruise on February 19, 2010. This will be our third annual adult fund-raiser dinner. Proceeds from this dinner will assist grade 6-8 students on this year's trip to see our Luther Preparatory School, Wisconsin Lutheran College, Wisconsin Lutheran Seminary, and other sites in Missouri, Illinois, and Wisconsin.

Winter Weather Notices
In the event of winter weather affecting driving in our area, you will find notices of school closure or late start here on the school website, on NBC channel 5, and on KRLD 1080. Closing or late start information will be posted on the school website by 7:00 a.m.
