Proclaiming God's Unchanging Word
Since its founding in 1964, Calvary Lutheran Church has preached the good news of Jesus Christ, our Savior from sin. We believe that all are sinners and that Jesus' death and resurrection, not our goodness, save us from our sin. We believe that God communicates his message of love and life through the Bible which is truly God's Word. We believe God shares the gifts Jesus won on the cross through His Word, through Baptism, and through the Lord's Supper.
In an age of shifting and failing standards, we cling to God's clear and unchanging Word without apology.

Pre-School Room Update
Plans have been completed for the room cabinetry and built-ins which are being donated by Mr. Greg Schragin of Pallas Design Group. We expect construction of the dividing wall in the Fellowship Hall to begin in September and cabinetry work will then follow. Our timeline is to complete the room by our Open House in January and then to begin enrollments for the 2011-2012 school year. The room will also begin to be utilized for our pre-school Sunday School class upon its completion.

OWLS Poltluck
OWLS is the Organization of Wisconsin Lutheran Synod Seniors, and they will be having a potluck dinner at Calvary on Sunday, September 12, following the 11:00 a.m. worship service. Please watch the bulletin for more information.
Lutheran Boy Pioneers
Our boy pioneers will have their first meeting on September 12, 2010. Boys in grade K-6 are welcome to attend, and the first meeting will be held at Calvary from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Watch bulletin inserts for more information.
Men's Bible Study
Men's Bible Study will return to a twice-monthly schedule in September. Because of the Labor Day holiday, a meeting will not be held on Monday, September 6. In September Bible study will be held on September 13 and September 20 beginning at 7:00 p.m.
Koine Is Coming
Koine is a group of five musical artists who have put a twist on traditional Lutheran music. With their instruments in one hand and hymnals in the other, Koine has set about reinventing the way we listen to hymns. Plan to attend this worship service with music on October 17th, at 4:00 p.m. You, too, will be able to worship with music written in today's common language and still containing the extraordinary message we all love to share.
Summer Mowing Crews
